ORIGINS OF THE CLAN

The Original Federation:
The Federation Alliance was founded by a group of earth players with Orion as
the first leader. As with a lot of clans it had its peak with over 50 members
and real clan wars after which it was a downward slide for the clan. After
approximately 2-3 rounds the clan slowly and steadily was loosing members
looking for new opportunities. This was fueled even more with a half excepted
clan merger in which approximately 50% of the members went to a new clan being
formed know as Dark Forces Alliance.
DFA however was not so great. The main attraction was the member signatures than
playing Earth. After only one round DFA collapsed with not even a handful of
members returning. In its 4th round The Federation was in trouble now with only
about 10 members and barely able to maintain its site. A massive recruitment
effort was undertaken but with little success. The Federation was to soon
collapse.
Power Struggle:
During the recruitment effort a player by the name of Marx applied and was
accepted. This new member brought new ideas in the help turning the clan around.
He was promoted quite quickly and he tried getting things going with radical
ideas. Then there was a security breach. Someone had attempted to hack into the
site. As an emergency precaution all members except for the leader were
downgraded to level 2. Marx saw that his plans might not work so he had the
hacker (who was a friend of his) to try and break in again this time with
success.
Marx took the leadership and using the old leader's access he posted a message
to make it seem as if he was given the leadership fair and square. This is when
ICQ comes in as the word spread of Marx's treachery some members left (mostly
the oldest ones), some remained and new ones were recruited. Attempts were made
on retaking the site with little success. Attempted negotiations broke down and
Marx had control with some members who remained as spies leaving. Marx now had a
Star Trek clan with him running it, but the true clan did not die.
The Neo Federation:
Some members called in a few friends and managed to establish a new clan with a
new site and so The Neo Federation was born. Messages were sent out to other old
members and some who realized that Marx was a fraud. With Marx ignored for the
time being the new goal now was to re-create what was lost with new members and
new leadership except this time it would be better.

Chapter: 2, DAWN OF THE NEW LEGEND

Neo Federation's First Round:
This was a time when everything came together. A system of government was
established, people were elected and heavy recruitment was being carried out.
This was a time of peace and building up the clan. The Neo Federation was
starting to flourish. With several leaders and a constant flow of leaders there
seemed to be nothing to could stop this new clan. But Marx was still out there
in the old Federation site gathering up unsuspecting members. The Neo Federation
did make some strikes but the priority was to make the new clan work.
Round 2 In Pursuit of Marx:
During this round the membership count rose sharply. Additional squads were
established new positions were opened and the clan was now in full swing.
However Marx was still around finding some new members trying to keep his prize
alive. The Neo Federation was now powerful enough to crush Marx. Attacks were
carried out on any country under the Federation tag. The Federation countries
did not give heed right away though and unfortunately were still unaware of the
"real" Marx. The Neo Federation started messaging the Federation
countries about the events that had transpired earlier but were understandably
not convinced straight away.
After constant attacks, almost all the Federation countries that had survived
fled the tag, but were pursued. In the end Marx had enough and gave in, fleeing
the site leaving not traces. Some of the Federation members cam eover to Neo
Federation and were accepted. Most of the other members soon followed with them
now aware of the truth and established their own squad known as the Dark
Federation.
The Neo Federation was victorious, while gaining great members who served the
clan well.

Chapter: 3, THE CHARGE TO THE TOP

Neo Federation's Third Round
It was now the Neo Federation's third round and second full round. It was now in
a growth spurt with new members constantly joining and membership records
constantly being broken and broken again. The government was fully operational
with refinements being constantly made. Then about mid-way into this round a
fellow clan called Pinoy requested help in a war in which The Neo Federation
confronted Rage and Ragnorak. IT was full blown war with Neo Federation
drastically outnumbered. But the Neo Federation kept pressing while being slowly
weakened. In the end Pinoy was nearly destroyed and Neo Federation reach a
cease-fire with its enemies. For one of its first major wars it performed well
taking on three clans and not giving in. However it did not escape with out a
beating.
Spirits were not scared but instead grew as much experience and knowledge was
gained. New members continued to come in by the end of the round the Neo
Federation was a top ten clan in membership and maintained its position for a
while before slightly slipping towards the very end of the round. It was then
that a sister clan was founded in the newly established Limited Game in which
many members joined straight up. Now the round was at end with a lot of
experiences, ups and downs the Neo Federation was set to go higher.

Chapter: 4, NEORED

Neo Federation's Fourth Round
It was now the Neo Federation's fourth round and third full round. Neofed
retained its position as a top ten clan at the beginning of the set, but once
again, there was dissension within the group. Morgon had been voted president
once again, with Duffman as his VP. New squad leaders were picked, but one
choice created a lot of tension. Some members, lead by three of Neofed?s
senators (Soul Assassain, Droidekka, and Sauron) had been paired together
because they ?could work together better than with other group.? The problem was
that the majority of the dissidents in Neofed were in that one squad. To break
up what would have been seen by anyone as a problem, Morgon picked his Director
of Intelligence, Darodine, to take command of Omega Squadron. This nearly caused
a riot (it was mostly just the three above named dissidents)! To ?make the
peace? Darodine chose Droidekka to be his assistant, whom dutifully followed
orders and acted nobly.
Finally, all seemed quiet on the western front, when Cave of RED came on the
scene. Cave was the ambassador from RED to Neofed, and one of their top FA?s. He
and Morgon talked a while, and an offer came up, Neofed could join RED for a
reset or two and learn to net-gain, but they would have to become an outpost of
RED. After a lot of lively debate both for and against it, many members signed
an agreement to reform Neofed NO MATTER WHAT and the voting commenced. The vote
was far from unanimous, but the majority agreed to join with RED for that reset.
Passwords were gained, and the majority of members joined RED as NeoRED. A
number of the members (and all the dissidents, including Droidekka) left,
creating the Spectral Wolves. Morgon was gracious enough to allow the Wolves to
stay and use the Neofed site until they got up on their feet, but his trust was
violated when Sauron tried to hack in the site and take control! Morgon booted
him, and put a restriction on his ISP, watching to see if he could access the
site through another?s password. Meanwhile, the hierarchy was being set up in
NeoRED for the rest of the set. Morgon was in command, but under DFL Shinigami,
an altogether good guy who ran a solid fed. Other note-worthy members of RED
were SmartLiberal, Qz-jul, Asdf, and Pyromaniac. In general, they tried to make
NeoREDder?s feel at home, but acted a lot like parents, watching us and berating
us about mistakes.
Soon, war erupted against Ragnarok, after their president, Ruth, ?declared war?
on RED/NeoRED. RED/NeoRED quickly FS?d Rag, and took out their top ten, and
quickly eliminating all their top 1000 members. Soon, friends of Rag started to
make hits, and ICN declared war on RED/NeoRED too. RED/NeoRED then CS?d ICN,
causing massive damage, and making ICN?s FS look like a vacation in Hawaii.
Suddenly Paradigm attacked, quite by surprise! It was over an accusation of RED
spying on Paradigm, but the situation was quickly defused, with the resignation
of Qz-jul, the guilty party. RED had not sanctioned spying, and was vehemently
against it. Soon, the reset was at an end, and NeoRED decided to leave RED,
since a number of promises hadn?t been fulfilled. NeoRED left with a new ally,
and a massive library of strats to keep its members happy for many resets to
come. With the dissidents gone, and the strats that Neofed desperately needed in
hand, the future never looks brighter for Neofed.

Chapter: 5, A ROAD TO RECOVERY

Picking up the Scraps:
It was now the fifth round and The Neofederation broke away from RED out on its
own again not as satisfied as it hoped to be. Unfortunately a good number of
great members chose to remain behind with RED something that caused unnecessary
problems with regards to membership and activity. A lot of reforms were made
from experiences gained from RED and to prevent new potential problems to help
ensure an easier climb back to where NeoFed was. There was also a visit by Orion
the founder of original Federation and her remained for most of the round. But
what can ahead was the last thing that was needed.
The Spectral Wolves:
This was a clan formed from anti-merger members due to the merger with RED. In
the new round however relations with the former NeoFeder?s turned to the worst
with hostility on both sides constantly blaming each other. Negotiations broke
down with Spectral Wolves and war erupted. NeoFed although weakened by
post-merger, was more powerful then Spectral Wolves and defeated them. Some
members did return before and after the war, as for the rest nothing was herd up
to the end of the round.
Dominoes of Problems:
With the war on Spectral Wolves over, concentration was shifted back to getting
the clan up to speed and in full swing. New members started coming in it looked
as if the clan was back in action but misunderstandings with Unknowns on the
basis of retals caused several of NeoFed?s members to be killed and little
retalling done to prevent an obviously hopeless war. An uneasy truce was reached
but other clans like Reservoir Dogs had a sudden grudge against NeoFed. More
members were killed, but through constant diplomatic efforts and NeoFed again
minimal retals to prevent hostility with these clans in the future.
Unfortunately getting picked on was not the only problem. A sudden loose of
activity from a large number of members momentarily paralysed the clan with
recruitment efforts continuing to try and find more dedicated members.
With the end of the round seeing the most competition for President ever, a lot
lessons from potential and unofficial wars add to that reforms on member
training it wasn?t a total glorious round as many members strived for, but the
lessons from the past would strength the future.

Chapter: 6, SEARCHING FOR RECOGNITION

The Neofederation has entered its sixth reset. Hoping to learn from the mistakes
of the previous, we did as much as possible to improve the clan.
Starting Over:
Entering the reset and coming close to dropping under 35 members, the reset was
not looked upon favourably by many. With summer approaching many knew that their
vacations and summer jobs may force them to wuit Earth 2025 for at least a
month. The only pact we had with a major alliance at the time was a Limited
Defense Pact with The Infernal Council of Nations. Knowing that we were at war
with them under the NeoRED tag, we realized that we would be forced to give up
our alliance with RED. This proved to be a smart choice as the relations between
the our two clans fell apart.
The Recruiting Drive:
The leaders of the clan watched as the membership count slowly diminished. We
knew that a member drive was the only solution, but learnging from the previous
reset's mistakes we knew not to simply recruit members and leave them alone. We
decided that the only way to get and keep new members would be to implement a
new system. We split up different squads which would represent different
timezones. In addition to this we added a new "buddy system", in which
if a member appeared to be inactive or not following a strategy, the squad
leader would assign him or her to another member in the squad to look after
them. Thanks to this method, and the valiant efforts of Squad Leaders, members,
and the recruiting directors, the leaders were pleased to see the member count
slowly climb and reach its peak of over 50 members, all active citizens.
The new Anti-farming policy:
During this reset we knew that in order to gain recognition from larger
alliances, we needed to establish a system that would allow us to retal every
hit odne on us and kill all those who farmed us. During this reset, only about
100 hits were left undone thanks to the new system. This system also allowed us
to kill anyone who attacked four or more times. Three seperate times members
over 20 million NW attack our great alliance over 5 times to gain land. Two of
them were killed, and one was crippled so badly that his alliance forced us to
stop.
The Spectral Wolves:
After having disbanded, four of their members returned to The Neofederation. One
was inactive and booted, one became a high ranking and respected member, one
became a justice, and the other remains a citizen.
The Presidency:
After having problems balancing Earth 2025 with his job, Windmach was forced to
leave, and StSwf was made Unofficial President with roughly three weeks left in
the reset.
The Final Numbers:
For the first time, The Neofederation finished in the top 25 for Total Networth.
The final rank was Twenty-fourth. With a finish in the top 30 for number of
civilians killed, NeoFed members could proudly state that they were protected by
their tag. Every non-multi running alliance ranked above us had been invlolved
in the TIL/Anti-TIL war or some other major conflict. After this reset, NeoFed
members were truly protected, and the future reset is looking brighter.

Chapter: 7, YET ANOTHER ROLLER COSTER RIDE

Starting off Slow:
It was the 7th round for the Neofederation and nobody would have predicted the
different troubles the clan would fall into. The start was quite peaceful with
little trouble in any aspect small improvements were attempted but overall the
clan stayed very much the same with the only thing changing being the membership
number. Towards the early-mid part of the round Neofederationgot serious with
its kills and in total destroyed 22 countries that had violated its retal
policy. Maybe it was coincidence or just plain bad luck but the events that
happened almost simultaneously were in the end it was a harsh test of clan
integrity which thankfully the clan past.
Flick of the First Domino:
This chain of events started when Wafulz President of the Neofederation decided
to retire due to real life commitments. This was well excepted until another
member left, then another and yet another. In all about 5 “old” members were
leaving due to real life, having enough of earth or just moving on. There were a
few others that were less well known and this sudden vacuum of members caused a
few to start a panic. A lot of the people held leadership positions and so there
was also a temporary shortage of leaders. This passed after about a week and a
half’s time during which the leaders along with other members were constantly
trying to restore confidence which they did.
The End of Democracy:
Soon after elections for new leaders there was an idea being developed about
re-structuring the clan to be more military like but cutting down a good portion
of the democracy and people just came out of one panic and fell into yet
another. There were rumours about cults, secret plans by the leaders the list
went on. In the end none of the changes even reached voting in the senate.
One Last Punch in the Face:
Barely recovering from the loss of members and the later panic on the democratic
front the Neofederation was called in to assist one of its allies. Rush to
preparation the Neofederation responded to help in what would become a hopeless
war. The opposition (AzN) called in Quebec to assist it more small allies on
NeoFed’s side were brought in as response. It was down hill from there then
Quebec went to war on another front and for some reason couldn’t handle two
fronts so it called in IXEPinoy to police. NeoFed stood absolutely no chance now
having taken a good battering it was in no condition to fight IXEPinoy so a
truce was reached with AzN.
Due to the conflict the NeoFed’s finishing rank was nothing impressive but
some good did come out of the bad. The clan’s integrity was tested well and
past, and the war was in a sense needed since the NeoFed had not done so for a
while and needed the experience. After such a tough round nobody is sure what
lies ahead.

Chapter: 8, Peace

This set started off ok with little or no trouble at all. Infact it’s been
quite a peacefull set with no wars (for a change). And only 6 kill runs, one on
the very last day of the set. The usual elections took place and Marxist was
elected Prez and Cardona as VP. Unfortunately Cardona was booted for inactivity.
This left Marxist to run the clan alone for most of the set.
We lost a few members this set as usual, this does happen, but the membership is
now starting to rise again. We are running a strong recruitment drive involving
all members and this will go on through the next set. A couple of our new
members have really proved themselves and are going from strength to strength. I
feel this set the members are all pulling together in the same direction at
last, and moral is good. Also we have an old member return to the fold, lets
hope we get one or two more.
Towards the end of the set Marxist ran the Prez and Vp elections early. He was
voted back in as Prez for the next two sets and Ray was voted in for VP.
Marxist then proceeded to plan a new beginning for the Neofederation. The squads
were re-organised and the training squad will now be run from Earthstats. This
will be better and give us more contact with new people. The new buddy system
will also be brought back in. Any new member will be teamed up with a buddy and
after coming out of training and will go to the same squad as their buddy. This
should ensure a steady growth of the new member. Also being brought in is a
points system. Very briefly anything you do, you will get a point and if you do
anything wrong or don’t participate you will loose a point. This will ensure
activity and friendly rivalry. The responsibilities of Squad Leaders is also to
be expanded, they will have to keep an eye on their squads more and submit
regular reports, again this will ensure activity.
We talked about changing the clan name but people were against it so the name
stays.
The Vp is now in charge of all kill runs and will work closely with head FA.
This will ensure that kills will be organised straight away and will not be
overlooked or argued about. Retals, we will be concentrating very hard on this
subject to make sure they are done. Providing of course people post all hits on
them, if they don’t then they wont get done. Farming of our members will no
longer be tolerated.
I have to say Coldgun gave us a great new tutorials in the form of a web page.
The instructions how to do things are very good with screen shots and I think it
will help people a lot. They are easy to follow.
Late in the set we closed the doors on one or two retired members. One was
trying to get people to go over to his clan (no names). We later had strong
suspicions that he was running a second country that joined our clan to spy.
After a Senate enquiry this country was killed. We will not tolerate spying or
any multies.
All in all things look very promising for the coming set.

Clan History
Chapter 10
The set started off well with very heavy recruiting by each member of the clan.
And it was paying off as we had 9 new members within the first two weeks of the
set. Over the next couple of weeks the clan rose to 29 members. And halfway
through the set it rose to 48 and then to 50. This was when we said no more
recruiting; we had to get new members up to scratch quickly. I have to say at
this point the buddy system did not work very well at all. But I think this was
mainly due to the greater number of new members, far more than the buddy system
could cope with, and my thanks must go to those people who were buddies, and to
the ones that tried to be.
The other thing about this set is the number of old members who are now
returning to the Fed. It’s really good to see that happen. Towards the end of
the set we brought in a test for new people to do before going into a full
squad. It is a simple 20 questions to make sure that all new members know our
rules and who does what within the clan. They must pass this before going into a
squad.
Retalling, if you were hit then it was posted in your own squad forum and your
own squad did the retals. This seemed to work. Then we went back to the retal
board system. That was when it failed to work. But to be fair, some pretty big
countries were hitting us, but again only because a lot of our members were
fairly land fat. This problem has to be addressed.
Kill runs. Just over halfway through the set we had eleven kills to our name.
But not enough people take part. It’s the same few every time there is a kill
run. But again I have to take into account all the different time zones. Again
all the kills we had were successful, as the turnout did get better. One country
was that small we had to leave it. I opened it for the newer members to practice
on. By the last week of the set we had 17 kills to our name.
DISASTER. Well nearly anyway, the site had a new server installed. When the site
came back on we found that we had lost the last two to three weeks of work we
had done. Things like records of kill runs and retals all lost. All new members
who joined during that time period were suddenly out of the clan. All squads
went haywire. Plans that were being made were lost and we had to rely on our
memories. However the members all pulled together to get things back to normal.
The lost new members all re applied and were re admitted. Which in itself was
pretty dam good. So yes, we recovered very well.
Changes to the Senate were brought in also.
1. The senate- the senate makes senate law that is the top law in the clan
mainly dealing with charter issues.
2. People Council.
The PC will make common laws, these are laws that are taken as long as they
don’t go against senate laws, this body will be the primary instrument for
dealing with clan issues and laws.
While the senate is more powerful, it will (by convention) mainly deal with
issues that affect the charter and will deal with issues brought up by the PC.
The speaker of the senate will have access to the PC forum so he can represent
the senate. The PC will deal with the major issues of the clan including any FA
issues and changes to the day-to-day laws of the clan. The VP will have voting
rights in the PC but the Prez will only be able to watch/debate. The common law
will deal with things like activity, retal policies, and so on. As said earlier
the senate will be the acting court when requested by either the clan body or
the PC.
Another change is that we will have a Head Squad Leader. His job will be to
monitor the squads, and will have the power to promote new SL, new ASL, and move
non-active members to purg if they don’t do what’s expected of them.
And two days to the end of the set and Earthstats went down again, this time due
to a power cut. Well some of us ended the set on a high as we kicked out two
members for attacking a very big clan and causing us a lot of trouble. We ended
by dealing with those two members in the only way we could.

Well as usual we lost around 15 members as the set restarted but very soon we
got the recruiting under way. Recruiting did not do as well as last set but we
still gained new members.
A clan of around 13 members decided they wanted to join us in Neofederation with
the help of Valarian. Over a week they came to us but not all 13 of them, which
was a shame.
With all the elections out of the way, this set sees the new Peoples Council
make a start. Unfortunately by the end of the set we saw it was not going to
work so we took the decision to disband it altogether.
We had an offer from DA alliance to merge with them and we looked at the idea.
We had a forum put on for them to talk to us. But after a while all we got from
them was how good they were and how bad we were. Things got so bad that we did
not want to go any further with it. Some of our members wanted to go for the
merger but soon changed their minds. We also got an offer of a merge from TIE
but again that was tuned down by us.
Society X wants us to send members over to their clan for them to train us up in
better use of strats. S/X said if we don’t do this they will not pact with us
again next set. This up to now is going no-where. I think the Neofederation will
do better by being on its own and building our own reputation and getting more
respect that way.
Nearly at the end of the set we were at Red alert. This is to do with a major
alliance farming us and we were to do all retals against them and make a stand
to show them that we are no longer going to be a farm tag.
In the last week or so of this set the Presidency was challenged and elections
started quickly.
Plans for the next set.
It has been decided that we will run teams as per strat being used and this
should make training easier. New members will be placed straight into a team and
the TL’s will be responsible for training, also other members can help out.
Retals will be done by each Team. ie. All hits on one team will be retaled by
that team. Even if we have a kill to do it will be done by team, unless it’s a
really big one then all will be involved.
Retals
This set has seen a much better response to doin retals but we are still being
hit by large clans and we get retals we just can’t do. The way round this is
we plan this set to make sure we only hit untagged countries and hopefully will
cure the problem. At the end of this set we have 10 kills to our name. Not as
many as last set but we are showing that we are not going to be messed with.
So onto to the next stage of growth for The Neofederation
We will landgrab, we will retal and we will kill any and all
opposition..............................

Well this set saw the new beginning of Neofederation. We have a whole new set up
and it seems to be working very well indeed. Our membership is back up to around
50 members in no time at all. New members are now getting proper training
according to their strat. Even that is now working better.
Retals are getting done now at a better rate than ever before. Each team is
doing their own so they can’t rely on other people to do them.
Halfway into the set and we are getting hit by all major alliances big style.
But at the same time we are getting a little more respect from some alliances
than we have before.
This set sees us with one or two very experienced members joining us who have
been in the game a very long time and are proving very useful indeed.
I cant comment on how many kills we have had this set as the site went down
again and we lost around two weeks of work yet again. But to my reckoning we
should have killed around seventeen countries. The biggest was around 13 Mil NW.
Due to site failure we are now serious about setting up another site for us. And

We are now looking at expanding our new set up and new training methods. A new
training team has been set up and will be used right from the word go. All new
members will stay in that team for at least one month to make sure they run a
strat properly.

Chapter 13. Set ending 30/3/04

This set has started out with the best recruiting I have ever seen for a long
time. We have had two smaller alliances join us and boosted our numbers up to 66
members and is still rising at this time.
Mergers
One alliance that merged with us turned on us and nearly started a war with a
couple of alliances but we averted that. We then proceeded to take out around 10
of their members, or what we thought were their members. It now seems they were
multies. The leader of that alliance denied all knowledge of what had happened
so we restricted the kills to the ones that did the attacking. Then it stopped.
So it seems that the alliance really didn’t know what was going on. It was a
pity it didn’t work out for them or us. We would have made one really good
alliance. The bad part is it has made us very wary of any future mergers.
Server War
Every alliance was at war with everyone. What a chaotic state. I’ll say no
more on that. At the same time alliance tags were hacked all over Earth. We were
hacked twice and this brought more problems trying to change tags and passes to
protect our members, which we managed to do quite well thankfully.
This was supposed to be netting set for us but it didn’t quite turn out like
that due to the above problems.
WAR
Then it happened. All hell broke loose. We were in talks with a much bigger
alliance for a pact and they put us on DNH. Whilst talks were on they FS ed us.
We just didn’t see it coming at all. In 3 days they took out our top 20
countries. All this, whilst talking about pacts. Mind you they knew we weren’t
war ready and we were having a netting set. And I suppose they took advantage of
the fact that our alliance was split due to tag hacking as well. So I suppose
they saw us as an easy target. All our members fought back well. In the end they
asked us for a cease fire which we agreed to. I don’t think they expected us
to fight back the way we did. We weren’t going to just lay back and take it.
Time now to rebuild.
Towards the end of the set we had elections. Because one person lost the
election for their position that person decided to delete all the forums in that
Dept. How selfish was that. Anyway clan deletion was the answer. She will never
be allowed to return again. We also lost a couple of members to another
alliance, which came out of the blue. Sad, but part of the game I’m afraid. We
will just have another mass recruiting session next set to re-coupe our numbers.
NEXT SET
Well we have a new set up as the war pointed out a couple of weak points so
these will be rectified. We have set up a new justice system which already has
worked well so this will be kept going.
The Newsley Times clan newspaper has been set up again and is being run
extremely well. We have 3 to 4 copies out so far and I think all members like it
so that too will stay and hopefully be run by the person that started it.
We are taking a little more time over the next set up as we want it to be right.
This set up is going to be left in place for future sets so it has to work well
for all concerned. New squads and divisions are now set up and we are ready for
the next set.
Total kills this last set were 36 and this includes 14 kills during the war we
had.

This set has seen some changes yet again and all for the better. This set has
been a roller coaster ride with us going on red alert and yellow alert a few
times. This was due to major wars throughout Earth. Luckily we weren’t
involved but we were ready.
First few weeks of the set and we had a merger. Quebec joined us, and all their
members came over. They have their own Division and seem to have settled in with
us. They are a very good crowd and its good to have them with us. This has
really strengthened Neofederation.
RETALS
Yes they are being done at a better success rate than before. We still need to
get ppl to post ALL the hits on them or more so than they are doing.
KILLS
This set has seen fewer kills than ever before, only about six in total. Other
clans now see us with more respect and are not trying to farm us as much because
they know they will be retalled, which is the way I see it. This is better Tag
protection.
TRAINING
This is on going and we have a couple of excellent trainers. Also a couple of
the more experienced players have been trying their best to help people out and
show them better ways of running strats. To prove this works, quite a few of our
members have reached their best set ever with this ongoing help. I know it will
continue and I will say a big thank you to those guys. You know who you are.
We finished this set in the top 25 clans in Rank, NW, and Members. That is a
very good achievement all round.

This set started out with the new set up and everything in place, we are ready.
I think this history is going to be pretty much a quick run down on how things
have gone for us this set.
To start with we didn’t loose many members at all at the beginning, which must
mean ppl are happy enough to stay. Over the set we have had a couple of old
members return to us, which is always good to see happen.
Once again over the set there were times we went on Yellow alert and the
alliance as a whole responded very well to those alerts. We were ready
RETALS
Again we have done all retals effectively. Ppl are posting their hits more now.
But I have to say we still need to tighten up on them.
KILLS
What can I say about kills? There has hardly been any this set. One of our new
members did a kill all on his own and he did it well. There were in all about 3
to 4 kills I think. Now this is good if you think about it.
TRAINING
SA took over the main training this set and was aided by others and he has done
well. I believe the training program will stay as it is for the foreseeable
future. The rise in pls NW finishes are to be seen yet again at the end of this
set. This proves that good ongoing training works. Also of course, working to a
strat, and sticking to it.
Our alliance rankings are also very good this set…better than last I believe,
and they are as follows; NW….14th Land….16th
On a final word…….Its been a full set now with Quebec merged with us and I
have to say its gone well. Their members are very good and are very accomplished
in all they do. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with them. They
are more than welcome.

Set Ending 29/9/04

Well this set started off with an alliance wanting to join us as an outpost.
After a lot of talks with their heads and ours a treaty was formed and accepted
by both sides. The other alliance is called FoES. They seem to be a very good
crowd and they were from another alliance that broke up. I wont go into details.
FoES will keep their own site and give our heads access and we will do the same
for them. Hopefully we will also have a shared forum for our members to talk on.
Well that was how it was supposed to be. But after a short time with us they
decided to move on. There was no animosity from anyone but some ppl just
didn’t hit it off. FoES took a vote and left. We are still friends with them
and that’s how it will stay, as they really are a good crowd. We wish them all
the best of luck.
This set also sees Marxist step down as President of Neofederation after
completing eight sets as President. This is purely due to Real life commitments.
The elections took place at the beginning of this set or just into this set.
Dave was duly elected as Neo’s new President. There is no change in the VP
position. Marxist also ran for the senate and won the seat. He was also made up
to Speaker of the Senate.
Dave needed time really to settle in as Pres but didn’t get much of a chance
as we went to war. Well we said it would be a war set and here we go…….with
about half a set to go we Fsed Ragnorok, The reasons I will not go into.
By the time we were only 12 days from set end we were neck and neck on kills
with Rag, maybe just in front of them. Our ppl are killing as fast as they can
and kill runs have a good turn out of ppl, so well done all Neofeders.
Eight days to set end and we are now starting to loose this war as expected but
we have put up a dam good fight. This has been good practice for all out new
members and we will learn a lot from it. Well the war went on right till set
end. All I will say is well done to both sides. But especially to all Neofeders
as we were out numbered right from the start, and we all fought well and those
that died came back with re starts, some a couple of times.
Next set will see a total reorganisation so we need a complete set for netting
and re training etc. So good luck to all in the coming set.

What a start to a new set. Dave has had to step down as President due to RL
commitments, so elections will be held for a new President.
Elections went ahead and Marxist was duly elected as our new President.
This set saw a few ppl leave for a variety of reasons right at the beginning of
the set. Ok we will now have a mass recruiting session, and that will bring our
numbers back up again.
RETALS
This set see’s us getting hit a lot and we are doing retals as fast as we can.
They will all get done I’m sure.
This set is not going well at all for us we have a few more ppl leave for Real
Life reasons and a couple for other reasons.
This set has seen us with quite a few internal problems of which I wont go into.
All I will say is we hope they are resolved enough for us to be able to get
Neofederation back where it belongs. Although I have to say we did very well in
the rankings. So all was news was not bad news. Well done everybody.

Chapter 1 Restart…………………..Set end 30 July 2005
Neofederation has risen once more. After our short break in Rival and various
other alliances our members got together to plan the restart of Neo. We had kept
our site for just meeting and chatting so that was half the battle. St Fear came
to me and offered to help set things up and he did an absolutely awesome job for
us. Messages were then sent out to all Neo people to try to get them to rejoin
us, and they did. We went through the first set with 28/30 people to start with,
not all were ex Neo. A good few were recruited after a mass recruiting session.
Marxist set up all key positions for the alliance and squads etc, we were then
ready to go.
Our FA people did a good job trying to get pacts with major alliances but some
were reluctant due to the trouble we had before Neo shut down. However we got a
good few and some of our old friends re pacted with us.
Very early in the set Marxist stepped down as President of Neo after 11/12 sets
in that position. He has done an awesome job for Neo, and he is staying with us.
This was mainly due to RL work pressure etc and a lack of time. So elections
were held and I (Ray) was elected as President of Neo. I just hope I can do as
good a job. This of course left me without a SVP. Elections again were held and
Bonesaw was elected to take my place as SVP. I know he will do a first class
job. He is actually contacting a lot of older members of Neo trying to get them
back again. And I’m sure he will succeed.
We have also has gone into FFA to set up Neofederation as a training ground for
new strats and to train ppl in the art of war and kill runs. From what I read
they seem to be doing a very good job so Neo will stay in FFA.
Looking back over this set it has been great to see us all band together to get
Neo off the ground and I can only commend all members for their enormous
efforts. Everyone has pulled their weight and more besides. A few older members
of Neo have also returned who we have not seen for a long time, its good to have
them back again. We still have a lot of hard work ahead of us, and a lot of fun
times I hope. This set also saw our first kill run which was a success. We still
need more ppl to cover these times.

Set End September 2005
This set started very well with hardly any losses from the previous set. All
members settled down to some serious netting and very quickly got four of our
members right up there in the top 10 positions. They held their positions for
quite a while. But of course someone didn’t like that as we were about to find
out………………………..
WAR
We were suddenly FS’ed by Danedyn. There was little or no warning and there
was no war declaration on AT until after the FS. It took us a couple of days to
be ready for the counter strike. The war chats were set up and away we went. The
war started badly for us but we very soon evened up the score and very quickly
took the lead and held it. It didn’t take us long and we did actually tag kill
them. DD didn’t seem to want to surrender so we just went on killing and still
held the lead. Towards the end DD didn’t seem to know how to hit us back hard
enough to count. The following is a quote from our SVP about the
war…………………
After 72h or just little more time since we started taking land that Danedyn
couldn’t retal or never intended to either, they FS’d us taking out 3 of our
top Theos in the first wave.
I must say our members got fast up on their feet preparing to wall and change
direction from netter to a warrers in no time.
Danedyn did one of the worst first strikes I ever seen. 33 tagged they had, not
counting countries that participated in the first strike on us, but its not more
then 50% that hit us the first 72h.
Result from such poor hitting on us, and their lack of ability to take out our
top netters and breakers were shown in 72h when we started to hit back.
We then started to get spyops on our enemies and when I first saw them I
couldn’t believe they had been looking for war all set. Every country that I
looked at was easy targets and not strong built war countries as I thought they
would look like. First kill we did was a guy that had 0 troops and 0 sdi, and he
wants to go to war?
The war was fast getting into our favour by strong participation and dedication
to kill our enemies swiftly.
We started out taking out the most active hitter’s and countries we got to
know belonged to leaders of Danedyn.
We were focused and every kill run we held resulted in at least 2 dead Danedyn
countries. Then Danedyn ran into some wallers in our ranks and couldn’t get
kills in for 24h or more they lost initiative and we kept pawning hard down on
their breakers and top ranks taking them out 1 by 1.
We tried to find right targets for all missiles and special ops for readiness
and such, sometimes we had hard time to find good targets to get readiness up
on, but dun blame us guys that run the kill runs, the easy countries died all to
fast.
We run into some wallers too that made stuff little harder for us but not much.
We have won this war already, Danedyn is tag killed meaning all original
countries that were tagged when they FS’ed us are DEAD.
Final scores were; DD 52 dead and Neo 31 dead.
FA
The FA dept ran as per the norm and dealt with everything accordingly. Prior to
the war all hits on Neo were retalled quickly and efficiently.
NEWSLEY TIMES
Yes this is the clan newspaper and it is well up and running. Marx took this on
and he is doing a first class job with it. There are usually all sorts of news,
tit bits and tips on playing from our trainers.
TRAINING
Sadly one of our trainers has had to leave due to real life probs but we have
quite a few ppl who helped out in this position. A new trainer was found and he
quickly got stuck into the job. He is also planning on bringing a new buddy
system to the alliance for training purposes. This will also make ppl feel more
a part of Neo and they will get to know us all a lot quicker.
ALLIANCE SET UP
The way we are set up now seems to work very well for us and there will be no
change in that. Except that the more new members we get the more squads we will
have.
So if you’re reading this with the idea of coming to join us then believe me
we are one big happy family. We are serious about the game ……. But we also
like to have fun as well, so come and give us a try.
SPY/MULTIE
I will say no names on this but this set has seen us catch two ppl who were
either a spy or a multie. We in Neo will not tolerate multies in any way at all.
Anyone who is caught out will be deleted without question.

This seems to have been a very good set for us. We have shown we can net when we
put our minds to it.
TRAINING
Although this set we didn’t have a mass recruiting session we did have a
steady input of new recruits and again we saw a couple of old members return to
Neo. Training of recruits has been good with more experienced members helping
out where they can. Marx’s goal for the coming set is to increase recruiting
to approximately 20-30 new members (creating an approximately 60 player members
(allowing for attrition).
FA
Our HFA has done an outstanding job this set and I’m sure he will do the same
next set. We have had a few problems both with our members and other alliances
but out FA people have been right there on top of things.
IA
We have had a change of VP of IA and he is doing a very good job. He has plans
this coming set to improve squads set up, and in turn will make life easier on
squad leaders.

Warbound with an agenda that got thwarted
IA
The NeoFederation decided to use strat based squads again this set. The IA team
did a lot of work setting it up. War was on the horizon as an alliance had
pissed us off during the previous set; and now we were out for blood. We started
prepping for war; going slow with Christmas around the corner.
The War
We decided on a post-new-year's strike. On December 21st, however, we got First
Striked by The Fist. Later it was discovered that false info was to blame for us
being hit; rumours started flying. They quickly hurt us quite badly; taking out
our top 10 countries. We lost almost all original countries. Some suiciders then
started hitting neo. This put a stop to the war, thanks to a Cease Fire offered
by The Fist; who also decided to help get rid of these suiciders.
New Battle
The suiciders kept hitting and hitting. We fought back; alongside The Fist. The
FA team got on it and talked to the head guy in charge of the countries. They
managed to diffuse the situation. Thankfully a member sacrificed his country for
the better of the NeoFed.
Start netting?
Three and half weeks were left in the set and we were thinking about netting.
But with war killing our original countries it was not a viable option. A few
days went by and our friends in the Council of the Phoenix First-Striked
Dangerous Undertaking because of bullying tactics. With our set shot and not
much else to do, we decided to jump in and First Strike Dangerous Undertaking as
well. We warred alongside Council of the Phoenix and CWG decided to join in the
fight against us. MPE also started hitting Dangerous Undertaking with us; while
KSF was hitting MPE. If anything at all came from this war set; we earned more
respect from allies for aiding an ally in the time of need, some of the not so
seasoned veterans of neo also learnt better warring skills.

Set begin
After coming off a war set, we lost a few members for various reasons. We came
across a couple of good guys who wanted join, and they made an immediate impact,
so the loss of a few members wasn't as bad as it could have been this set.
Recruiting went on as usual, and we got some more active recruits. It was
determined that we would attempt a netgaining set. The FA team worked very hard
to keep it a netgaining set. Hits were traded, pacts were signed. Peace was
kept.
Netting there
This set saw Neo, for the first time in a while, have 3 countries in the top10
after week 4. A lot of people made personal goals, and most accomplished them.
Neo had 3 projected top50 finishers. Only 2 finished in the top50. The other got
hacked along with another neo member. But overall, Neo showed it could net as
well as war.
Honkey Takeover
Some talks happened during this set about people coming in from another
alliance. Eventually, a whole squad came over. Also there were talks of neo
going to war the following set in defense of an ally who got gangbanged after a
FS on another alliance, who called in all kinds of allies to make a point.
Final Judgement
Neo, for the first time in a while, finished really well in netting. And we also
got back a few members who had experience, and picked up 2-3 quality new
recruits in the process.

A Call to Arms: Neo wars for Loyalty

Netting's fun... but we like war
With last set's events, Neo was asked to step in on the looming server war. We
accepted gladly! A lot of of us are warmongers, and we never think twice about
helping our closest ally. We also got that squad from another alliance. They
immediately stepped in and made some waves
The Call
Neo, at this point, is 45 members strong. We get some war strat tips from our
allies. We pact strong for our side of the war. Three weeks go by. Neo prepares
for BATTLE. War happens about 2 days earlier then we hoped. We hit the very next
day. Neo makes decent impact on the war from the start. We start taking some
kills. We are breaking lots. We have a couple of high spy countries.
The Slaughter
All goes good for about 2 weeks into the war. Neo wasn't targetted yet, since
the other alliances were hitting the larger groups on our side. Neo, Vengeance,
and Revelations have the most breakers left. Eventually, it's time for us to get
hit. One after another, Neo countries go down, some without swinging. We are
almost tagkilled, but four original countries were left. Three were too small
for various reasons, and one was in vacation mode. Eventually two small
countries and the country in vacation get killed. The countries who started late
were the only that who didnt die that war set.
Set ends
With the war ending soon, There's a distinct feeling that Neo lost alot of
members. However, we may be smaller in the future but the neo's who come back
and those who remain are TRUE neo's and would do anything for their alliance.

High hopes
Set beings Neo has high hopes on netting..Our countries get fatter then normal.
We get 2 friends from Elysium to come over to help with a little tag protection.
Most people are having personal best in nw potential and land this set. Neo had
5-6 commys in the top100 for the first 2 weeks, which is pretty impressive for
ourselves. Neo got up to 45 members tagged at 1 point in this set. We was pacted
tight and had very little problems from some clans.
Some old grudges
All is going well until 2 larger alliances decide they have scores to settle. IX
or illuminX and Rival. Illuminx fought the urge to kill us off all set cause of
the previous sets server war in which we sided against them and for our allies
Elysium. Rival went after us cause of a built up hatred dating back 1 year prior
when NeoFed split from rival to re-emerge into itself and cause of low morale
cause they picked a netting target that didnt put up enough of a fight. So
Neofed got gangbanged by the potential of 230 countries vs our 44 or so. It
wasnt a pretty sight. We fought back though, and hit Rival back along side ICN
and anklebit Rival.

We Kept On Trying

Giving It A Try
Well we tried it again: Netting. We were doing well too. We had high net worth
countries, but that didn’t last long. For the membership we had about
43 tagged countries, and we were on a roll. It is during this set that a couple
of old vets came back. Out of everything that happened this set, the most
amazing thing was getting a pact from Rival. This pact was also renewed for the
next set.
A War
Well our netting set didn’t last long. An unpacted clan, decided to FS us.
This was due to a problem we had with them a couple of sets ago. Rogue only had
38-tagged countries, with our 43. That really didn’t make a difference though.
During the war NeoFederation lost 23 countries, while Rogue only lost 3. Our
lack of activity lead NeoFederation into losing way too many countries and that
was the main reason why NeoFederation surrendered to Rogue. After Rogue asked us
for a cease fire. The surrender was their stipulation to which we the leaders
agreed. The leaders tried their best to get the members to do more in the war
but this didn’t work out too well which was why we agreed to the surrender.
After this war we started the Presidential elections. The two nominees were
Marxist and Joani. Campaigns started and finished in a total disagreement. Joani
felt she could not carry on and promptly left the alliance. This left us with
Marxist who after a while took the reigns of Neo once again with Ray staying on
as VP. This confrontation has lost us quite a few members but I’m sure we will
overcome that. Marxist is now planning for the next set. Recruiting will be
started asap.

Chapter 28, A Time To Grow
Feb 1/07- March 30/07

This set got off to a good start.
Sinister went out to recruit as many people as possible, and he did. The recruit drive went far better than we could have hoped for. Not only the number of recruits but we had some good quality ones too. Infact they were all very good. We had one or two very new people to the game and they were taught by all of our regular members and they have come on really well. With the team we have now I am really looking forward to next set.
We had a slight problem with a smaller clan who decided to kill one of our newer members because he did 3 land grabs on one of them. They refused to stop the kill and we started to take them out. I have a strong feeling they were infact multies.
Next set plans so far is furthering our development and further recruiting right from the word go. We plan now to split the clan into teams, maybe by strat or by time zone.
Our FA was run by Draco but he had to retire mid game, but Messiah had returned and resumed his previous position of HFA.
On finishing the set Neo was 10th in total NW and 8th in total land. That is a very good finish people, well done.

Back in Action
Right from the start of the set, we went out recruiting. We did gain a few new members but not as much as we had hoped. There are approximately 48 members now. A few old members returned, giving us an added edge. Jackm9 and myself decided to restart the Newsley Times. Hopefully we will be able to maintain its production.
Neo-Wrath
All set long we maintained a high level of retailing efficiency and even several Kill Runs. Omega squad has proved their worthiness and willingness to do what it takes to keep the clan safe. We had some problems with several small clans and near the end of the set war broke out. Neo fought well, especially (as we later found out) since it was against an alliance comprised of earth veterans, including some of the best stonewallers in the game. After talking with their leaders, we realized the war was pointless since they did not care if they lost. There was nothing to gain or prove and a treaty was signed, ending the war.
Our Loss
At the end of the set Ray decided he needed a set off in order to take care of some personal business. Reflex quickly was voted in as VP and will serve the remainder of Ray’s term. It is a loss for our clan to have Ray leave, but we know he will return. NEO will live on.

For Strength
The start of the set brought around another round of recruiting. Neo gained some much needed quality from the new recruits and the return of a number of old members rejuvenated us. The Omega kill squad was quickly put to the test and they lived up to their promise. Throughout the set they took it to the enemies of Neo and the membership responded by netting fruitfully and pitching in on the kill runs.
For Honor
The end of last set saw Ray take leave for this set. To honor our mentor we decided to dedicate the set tag and theme to him. It was a great set overall, worthy of our friend Ray.
For Glory
The long road has been paved with our end of the set stats speaking for themselves. NeoFed has been restored to a former glory it has not seen for a long time. NeoFederation IS forever!.
